Congress Venue

  

Inter-Noise 2004 will take place at the Czech Technical University, Faculty of Electrical Engineering. The university campus is situated in the residential district of Dejvice, in the western part of the city centre, close to Prague Castle.
The congress venue can be reached from the international airport within 20 minutes by taxi or bus. The underground station is 2 minutes away by foot, with a travel time to the city centre of a mere 5 minutes.





The plenary sessions and parallel sessions will take place in the auditoriums of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering.

The main congress hotels Diplomat and Crowne Plaza are within easy walking distance from the congress venue.
Additional hotels are accessible by underground and tram.





In addition, several inexpensive yet fully equipped single or double rooms will be available in the student dormitory Masarykova kolej, also in easy walking distance.





The opening ceremony of the congress will be organized on August 22 in the Rudolfinum, the renowned concert hall of the Czech Philharmonic. The program will include a concert by a professional chamber orchestra. Free bus transport will be arranged between the Rudolfinum and the registration desk at the university.





Lunch, which is included in the participation fee, will be served in the student canteen in close proximity.





The Congress dinner will be organized in Hotel Praha, close to congress venue.
