Public Transport in Prague

A. Transport Airport Prg Ruzyne – Prague INTER-NOISE place

There are several possibilities:
Minivan Service
Public transport – bus No.119 (to the end stop – see Map 1) (cca 20 min.)

Cost: 1 person 12 Kc (Czech Crowns), it is app.30 Cents (info Dec.2003)
System of payment: Self-service, bus tickets are possible to buy in the Airport Hall

B. Public Transport

Transport possibilities in Prague are:
Underground (METRO)

The Congress INTER-NOISE 2004 is in walking distance from the end station of METRO (Dejvicka)

see Map 1. Hotels Diplomat and Crown Plaza and Student Hostel Masarykova are also in the walking distance.

The other hotels and the Concert Hall Rudolfinum are mainly on the METRO line A (green line).

System of payment: Self-service.
The ticket is valid only if validated in the validating machine.
Prague is fully operational with convenient, fast, safe and inexpensive transportation.
Like in other large cities with regard to pickpockets, of course.
The frequency of underground (Metro) trains varies from one every 3 minutes (rush hours)
to one every 10 minutes (night). Operating time is 5 o’clock a.m. to 24 p.m.

C. Other transport/ Hotels connection

During the Congress is organized the special shuttle bus from the Student Hostel Strahov via Hotel Pyramida to the Congress Place. The other hotels has very good connection by Metro line A (Pariz, Dorint Don Giovanni, IBIS, NOVOTEL) within max.20 minutes. Hotels Diplomat and Crown Plaza and Hostel Masarykova are in walking distance. Opening ceremony takes place in the Concert Hall Rudolfinum, directly on the Metro A-line (10 minutes).
